Our next meeting is planned for Friday, September 16th meeting, 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the Center for Urban Families. We’re going back to our roots with a meeting focused on education and information to help us stay on course with our growth as a trauma-aware community.  All who share our vision of helping communities to thrive are welcome!

• Cure Violence & Safe Streets – Presentation & Q&A with Matan Zeimer – As gun violence continues to reverberate in our communities, the programs being initiated by Safe Streets & Cure Violence take on increased importance. Come out and hear about what the programs are and how we are leveraging them to reduce violent crime.
• Boys & Men of Color Research Presentation with Ivan Juzang – We’ll dive into the challenges and opportunities faced by young men of color based on focus group research conducted by MEE Productions in major cities across the country.
