Why do we as a nation make it so hard for children to thrive and how can we do better?

Wounded Places, from the Raising of America Series, examines how our long history of disinvestment and structural racism has ravaged communities and left so many residents suffering from the effects of chronic and toxic stress.

In partnership with the Penn North Community Center, we will be screening Wounded Places.  This is the TCC’s 3rd screening, and we are excited about each opportunity to reach more community members.  We hope you’ll join us as we watch the film together and engage in a dialogue examining how we begin to heal.
