DESCRIPTION:For people suffering from the effects of chronic exposure to trauma\, learning about the brain science of trauma can be eye-opening. Suddenly\, it becomes clear why you behave the way you do; you can finally understand. But\, at the same time many\, particularly teens and adults wonder\, “Can I be fixed? Will I always be this way?” At our October general meeting\, we’ll examine these issues\, digging further into the epigenetics & brain science of trauma with a short 37-minute film from the Raising of America series\, DNA is not Destiny.
