DESCRIPTION:9:00 AM – Networking & Coffee |\n9:30 AM – 11:30 AM Meeting |\n\nIn response to the riots following Freddie Gray’s death\, community based organizations\, professional associations\, private groups and governmental agencies implemented initiatives to help promote healing and to strengthen communities here in Baltimore. We’ll hear about some of those initiatives and approaches as well as learn strategies on community engagement. \nFeatured Speakers: \n\nLynn Mumma – Director of Family Resources – Behavioral Health System Baltimore (BHSB) – In response to the riots following Freddie Grays death\, BHSB partnered with the Baltimore City Health Department and the Mayors Office on Criminal Justice to offer healing circles across the city. Lynn will be discussing this initiative and BHSB’s approach to help the city become more trauma informed.\nIvan Juzang – President – MEE Productions –  As a specialist in connecting with to hard-to-reach urban and ethnic audiences\, Ivan will be sharing a webinar he developed on Community Engagement.
