Child Sexual Abuse and How to Prevent It

Enough Abuse - It's Not Just Jenna - A Story of Child Sexual Abuse & Prevention
April is National Child Abuse Prevention month.  This month, in furthering the cause of eliminating child abuse, the Thriving Communities Collaborative’s April monthly meeting will feature the short film, “It’s Not Just Jenna: A True Story of Child Sexual Abuse and Survival.”
This 18-minute video, co-produced by Massachusetts Citizens for Children and Alvid Productions, will be followed by a facilitated presentation and discussion on the topic of child sexual abuse and how to prevent it.  The film and it’s accompanying learning/discussion guide was developed to educate youth-serving professionals, parents, and middle and high school youth.
